Want an easy, inexpensive, time-consuming craft, for your kids to do while you get things done!?

Try this "Flower Pot Craft!"

  • Small Flower Pots (I grabbed mine from Dollar Tree)

  • Kids Non-Toxic Craft Paint (Also found at Dollar Tree)

  • Paint Brushes

  • Brown Paper Bags/Newspaper - to cover work area

  • Potting Soil

  • Flower Seeds (I grabbed a big box of Wildflower seed mix from Dollar Tree)

  1. Cover surface area with brown paper bags or newspaper.

  2. Start painting the flower pots!

  3. Once fully dry, start filling pots with potting soil about 1/3 of the way.

  4. Then add your desired amount of seeds!

  5. Fill with potting soil to the top and spray with a water bottle to moisten the soil.

  6. That's it! Place your pots in a sunny location and watch them grow with your kids while they feel proud of themselves for decorating the pots and even planting the flowers! ;)

Happy Crafting! Enjoy ;)
