Have you ever wanted to make those fancy chocolate bowls that they serve ice cream in at restaurants? Well I've finally figured it out and I'm going to share it with you! It's not only pretty and delicious, but it's also a fun way to spend time with your kids and make a night out of it!
All you need is;
1. Balloons; one for each bowl you want to make, and a few extra just in case ;)
2. Chocolate Melts; white, dark or milk.
Melt chocolate in a double boiler. Once it's the right consistinscy, place a large amount of it in a circle in the middle of a glass or porceloin plate.
Inflate your balloons, one for each bowl you'd like to make!
Dip the balloons into the melted chocolate until it covers the entire lower hemisphere of the balloon.
Once your happy with your dip, place the balloon on a nonstick baking sheet or plate covered with wax paper and allow to cool for about an hour.
Once cooled, pop the balloon and VOILA!! Just remove the balloon and fill with your favorite dessert! ;) SO MUCH FUN!!
For our bowls I used leftover white chocolate chips (light blue colored) that I had from a baby shower. We used homemade vanilla ice cream, pretzel twists, sprinkles, and a Hershey's milk chocolate bar shaved on top for garnish!! JUST HAVE FUN WITH IT ;)
